Young and old alike are invited to join jolly Old Saint Nick for a ride on the Issaquah Valley Trolley on Saturday, November 28, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Passengers are encouraged to bring their cameras to photograph young riders as they tell Santa their hopes and dreams for the holiday season.

Riders board at the Issaquah Depot Museum, 78 First Ave. NE, Issaquah. The $5.00 ticket includes admission to the Issaquah Depot Museum, the Gilman Town Hall Museum, the historic jail, and the ride-along with Santa on the #519 car.

This is the last chance to ride the vintage trolley before the 2016 summer season. The trolley travels up and down the one-mile of track between the Historic Issaquah Depot and Gilman Blvd. It is operated by trained motormen and conductors, much in the same manner as trolley cars in the early 20th Century. Passengers get a sense of what it might have been like to arrive and depart Issaquah’s depot when passenger rail service was a primary mode of transportation a hundred years ago. The Issaquah Valley Trolley is a program of the Issaquah History Museums.
