Small steps toward a cleaner planet
By: Anne Frances Owen ~ 1/9/2023

As our Environmental Committee recently discussed, we all can take small steps toward keeping plastic out of landfills and generally reducing our carbon footprints. For example, we can buy detergent in packaging that can be recycled or composted. We can also stop buying paper towels and, instead, buy a dozen (or two?) cloth towels or napkins and keep them in a basket on a kitchen counter for sudden spills, etc.

Little by little, each step contributes to a healthier planet until we might, someday, incorporate many of the lifestyle changes outlined in the video below. (In the meantime, everyone is welcome to join us as we pick up litter on the first Saturday of every month!)
