Kiwanis Club of Issaquah - Volunteers in Action

On March 21st, 2021 we volunteered to help the Friends
of Lake Sammamish State Park & Surprise!
We met our 8th District Congresswoman Dr. Kim Schrier

The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah supports environmental restoration and beautification projects in Issaquah. Today we helped weed and spread mulch at the All-Access Playground at Lake Sammamish State Park.

To our surprise, our congresswoman for the 8th district showed up. We jumped at the chance to chat with her a bit about the Kiwanis club and what we do. We will be working to invite her to one of our club weekly meetings as a guest speaker in the near future.
